Rene Roberts holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from California State University Long Beach, a Master of Arts Degree and a General Education and Special Education Credential from California State University Dominguez Hills as well as an MBA certificate from Pepperdine University.
Early in her career Rene worked as a Human Resources and Training Manager for both Wausau Insurance Companies and McDonnell Douglas Corporation. It was in these roles she found her passion for making a difference for others and for seeing them achieve unprecedented career successes.
While raising her two young sons (now teenagers) Rene took her love for teaching and training into the world of education. As an elementary educator Rene saw a great need for teacher training and parent advocacy in the area of Special Education. Rene capitalized on her life experiences living with a congenital disability (Rene has Cerebral Palsy.) and has become a parent coach and advocate through the educational process. She designed and now teaches college courses in Special Education.
Rene is an accomplished public speaker delivering motivational and educational seminars and workshops for the NAEYC, CAEYC and is "A" level speaker certified.
Rene began her training as a coach in 2004 as a leadership coach for a global educational company. In her two year tenure she became the most successful leadership coach in the company's 20 year history. Rene's passion is to have her clients empowered to be in control and at the cause of their lives and to know themselves as effective leaders, partners and champions in every area of their lives.
Since beginning her career as a coach in January 2006, Rene coaches business owners, Realtors, recruiters, teachers, parents, athletes and even teenagers. She is highly trained in both accountability and strategy coaching techniques and contributes in both roles at the company. She is known as a challenging and results producing coach who will have you achieve amazing breakthroughs in the areas of productivity and business effectiveness.
Becoming a coach has given Rene the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those she's coached and has allowed her the profound privilege to be a part of seeing others' dreams fulfilled. One could not ask for a greater gift!
Rene is a ninth generation California native who loves the sun, the ocean, reading, coaching and international travel. She is an avid sports fan and dreams of one day delivering an inspirational speech in Angel Stadium. She has inspired herself and many, many others by becoming a triathlete. She has participated in three sprint triathlons to date. The best is yet to come!
